Job summary

UnitingCare FaDS Brisbane is seeking an experienced Service Leader to guide our 13YARN team in delivering high-quality crisis support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. This full-time, maximum-term role offers hybrid working arrangements and a competitive hourly rate of $58.37 per hour plus Super and NFP salary packaging.

Qualifications

• Experience in crisis support, mental health, community services or not-for-profit organisations will be highly regarded.
• Current QLD Driver Licence.
• Current Blue Card.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the service.
• Provide supervision, coaching and performance support to team members.
• Coordinate recruitment, training and rostering activities.
• Plan and deliver learning and development programs.
• Train and assess employees in Lifeline-accredited training.
• Monitor service performance, reporting and quality outcomes.
• Manage risk, compliance and continuous improvement activities.
• Support budget monitoring and operational planning.
• Build strong relationships with community, government and sector stakeholders.
• Drive a positive, values-based and high-performing team culture.
