Far West NSW Local Health District in Broken Hill, NSW, is seeking a SPOT Peer Worker as part of its Zero Suicides in Care initiative. You will work with clinicians and peers to provide afterhours support to people in distress and support recovery journeys.

This role focuses on crisis response, follow-up, safety and wellness planning, and remote outreach via telehealth to communities across the Far West LHD.

Responsabilités

• Provide recovery-oriented peer support for people in crisis, including crisis response, follow-up, safety planning and wellness planning.
• Support remote and outreach communities of the Far West LHD primarily via telehealth communications, with some on-site assistance in the Broken Hill area.
