Metcash Limited is seeking a Credit Officer for a full-time, permanent role based at the Canning Vale office. The role operates in a hybrid environment with on-site work three days per week and remote work the remaining days.

You will manage the end-to-end credit lifecycle, balance commercial outcomes with risk management, and work closely with customers and internal teams to optimise cash flow and reduce financial risk.

Competenze

• Experience in assessing credit risk and policy adherence.
• Proven track record in end-to-end credit control.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to monitor ageing and overdue accounts.
• Diligent documentation and accuracy.

Mansioni

• Assess new credit applications per policy and delegated authority.
• Review financials, trade references, and supporting documentation.
• Monitor customer trading performance and financial position.
• Manage a ledger of customer accounts to ensure timely payment.
• Conduct proactive collection activities (calls, emails, dunning).
• Monitor accounts for signs of distress, payment irregularities, or risk triggers.
• Apply credit holds or restrictions in line with policy where required.
• Ensure all actions align with internal credit policy and company standards.
