Job summary

BlueScope is seeking a Credit Controller for the Commercial Services and Transformation team, based at Mount Waverley, VIC. The role offers hybrid working arrangements, including one day a week working from home, on a fixed-term 18-month contract.

The successful candidate will bring credit control expertise, strong reconciliation skills, and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems to drive cash collection and risk management in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable
• Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of debtor accounts with a focus on risk reduction, cash collection, and customer outcomes
• Develop and maintain reporting on monthly and yearly account trends against forecast
• Engage with internal teams from sales to finance to ensure timely, accurate responses
• Investigate and process customer claims efficiently and appropriately
• Analyse account performance and provide insights on delinquency and trends
• Influence customers in line with trading terms through negotiation and relationship-building
• Navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities
• Support continuous improvement and operational excellence
