Job summary

Elements Recruitment Pty is seeking a skilled Credit Officer for an end-to-end role based in Sydney's Eastern Creek. You will own the ledger from credit applications through to collections, balancing commercial outcomes with exceptional customer service.

You will collaborate with customers, sales and finance teams to manage checks, account setups, reconciliations and dispute resolution while supporting month-end activities. This is a permanent full-time position with a flexible 1 day WFH option.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Credit Officer position.
• Strong end-to-end credit management experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive attitude and genuine desire to provide great customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess and approve new credit applications
• Conduct credit checks and customer reference verification
• Set up and maintain customer accounts
• Manage collections and follow up outstanding accounts
• Resolve customer disputes and account queries
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Process credit notes, refunds and manual invoices
• Monitor ageing reports and proactively reduce overdue debt
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
