Job summary

Tag Pte Ltd in Sydney or Brisbane is seeking a Credit Controller to own a portfolio across APAC, working with Finance, Account Management and Operations to reduce overdue debt and convert payment promises into cash.

You’ll help test new credit control systems, support automation initiatives and help shape the future of the function. A hands-on professional with strong negotiation and reconciliation skills will thrive as the role progresses to lead the APAC credit control team.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in credit control or accounts receivable with collections responsibility.
• Proven ability to reduce overdue debt and resolve challenging accounts.
• Hands-on, takes ownership and follows through with tasks.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with sound judgement.
• Excellent reconciliation and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Solid Excel skills and familiarity with finance systems.

Responsibilities

• Own your collections: manage portfolio, prioritise overdue accounts and secure payments.
• Get accounts moving: investigate discrepancies, reconcile balances and resolve issues.
• Build relationships with clients and internal teams to drive results.
• Stay ahead of risk: monitor aged debt, payment terms and credit limits with recommendations.
• Keep the detail right: prepare statements, allocate payments and maintain records.
• Support system testing, data validation, automation and process improvements.
