Job summary

SLR Consulting is seeking a Credit Officer for its Sydney APAC Finance team. The role focuses on day‑to‑day management of a portfolio of customer accounts across APAC, with emphasis on Asia region, reporting to the APAC Finance Manager.

You will work with Finance, Billing and Project teams to resolve payment issues, ensure professional credit management, and maintain accurate account notes and data.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in credit control, accounts receivable or similar finance function.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for firm payment conversations.
• Ability to build effective relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Monitor outstanding and overdue invoices and follow up with customers per credit procedures.
• Maintain regular contact with customers on balances, payment dates and arrangements.
• Assist with debt reduction for accounts exceeding terms and quality of notes in systems.
• Identify signs of increased credit risk and escalate to Credit Manager APAC.
• Liaise with customers on balances, invoices and payment requirements; coordinate with teams.
• Maintain accurate customer/account information and data quality across systems.
