Job summary

FourQuarters Recruitment in Melbourne is seeking a confident Credit Controller for a fast-paced, temporary role on a full-time basis. You will manage ledgers, chase overdue payments and maintain customer records with a strong focus on accuracy and cash flow.

The role requires solid experience in accounts receivable/credit control, SAP familiarity (not mandatory), and excellent Excel and communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external customers.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year's experience in Accounts Receivable / Credit Control.
• SAP experience desired but not essential.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Organisational and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines.
• Confident communicator with high levels of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of your ledger and keep accounts within agreed credit terms.
• Proactively follow up outstanding debt via phone and email.
• Build strong relationships with customers to achieve desired outcomes.
• Negotiate payment plans and follow through on agreed arrangements.
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve account queries.
• Process credit claims and maintain accurate customer records.
• Support month-end activities and credit reporting.
• Collaboration with finance and sales team teams to ensure cohesion.
• Other ad‑hoc tasks.

Credit Controller | c.$50 p/hour | Melbourne | Temporary Position | Ideal for WHV or those looking for short-term opportunities

Four Quarters have partnered with a large, well-established business boasting an exceptional finance team who are seeking a confident and experienced Credit Controller to take on a fast-paced, temporary role on a full‑time basis.

This is a 'hands-on' role, suited to someone who has strong attention to detail and ledger management skills, and is confident communicating with internal and external stakeholders regarding accounts and payments.
