Job summary

The Armidale School in Armidale, NSW is seeking a Creative Arts Operations Supervisor to manage the Hoskins Creative Arts Centre's technical operations and support events across the school. You will work with the Head of Creative Arts and staff to run lighting, sound, AV, and staging for performances, coordinate bump-ins/bump-outs, and maintain equipment and safety records.

This full-time role averages 38 hours per week, may include evenings and weekends, with salary under the Independent

Qualifications

• Experience with theatrical lighting and basic audio operation.
• Experience in staging or stage management.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Commitment to safe working practices and student wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Operate lighting, sound, AV and staging equipment for productions.
• Provide technical support for performances and events.
• Assist with lighting design and programming.
• Coordinate set construction and production bump-ins/bump-outs.
• Maintain equipment, safety records and assist external hirers.
• Video filming and editing support for projects.
