Job summary

AFTRS is seeking a Studio Supervisor to lead safe Grip and Lighting operations across its studios and sets in Sydney. You will manage equipment bookings, crew scheduling, and maintenance while providing technical guidance to students and staff, with a strong emphasis on WHS and best practices.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience and knowledge of film and/or television production processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, best-practice Grip and Lighting operations across AFTRS studios and sets.
• Oversee equipment bookings, crew scheduling and maintenance, and provide technical advice to students and staff.
• Join a collaborative team at Australia's national screen and audio school.
• WHS: Ensure WHS and AFTRS safety processes and procedures are followed in studios and sets.
• Budgeting: track and forecast budgetary and resource requirements.
