Job summary

Adaptaible is seeking a Venue Manager in Armidale to lead daily venue operations, drive performance and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will manage staffing, rostering, budgets and safety compliance while working with the broader management team on initiatives and local marketing.

The role requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced entertainment environment, balancing people, profit and presentation to keep the venue welcoming and well-run.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated management or senior leadership experience in entertainment or hospitality.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a diverse team.
• Strong operational management across multiple venue areas.
• Sound commercial awareness, including revenue, labour costs, budgets and profitability.
• Experience managing rosters, performance and day-to-day workforce requirements.
• Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills.
• Efficient organisation and time-management in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the effective day-to-day operation of the venue.
• Lead, support and motivate the venue team to achieve high standards of performance.
• Prepare and manage effective staff rosters based on demand and budgets.
• Monitor revenue, costs and KPI performance; take corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with group marketing for campaigns and local marketing initiatives.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and upkeep.
• Ensure safety, compliance and proper administration of venue operations.
