Job summary

Public Sector People is seeking an experienced Workforce Scheduler for a local council in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs on a temporary contract ending 30 January 2027. The role focuses on autonomously coordinating the Customer Service Officers’ roster while providing administrative support to the wider team.

You will manage roster schedules, handle priorities, and maintain accurate workforce records, communicating changes across the organisation to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced office management or administrative role.
• Strong planning and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience using Genesys Cloud is essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the roster schedule for Customer Service Officers, ensuring coverage and responding to changing requirements.
• Manage competing priorities and demands while identifying and resolving scheduling issues.
• Provide a range of administrative and support services to Team Leaders and the Coordinator.
• Maintain accurate records and workforce information in line with systems and processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to communicate changes and keep operations running smoothly.
