Job summary

Palo Alto Networks in Sydney seeks a Domain Consultant to be the Cortex expert, defining technical solutions that secure customers' key business imperatives and evangelizing our Security Intelligence, Automation, XDR, and Incident Response capabilities.

You will collaborate with account teams, present to stakeholders, lead PoV projects, drive technical validation, and architect solutions that strengthen customers’ security posture and demonstrate clear value.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in Security Operations or pre-sales in SIEM, SOAR, SOC, and/or XDR/EDR.
• IBM QRadar design, deployment, and/or pre-sales experience highly desirable.
• Experience in working with customers, demonstrating problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude.
• Solid understanding of Security Operations Center processes.
• Advanced knowledge of SIEM and/or SOAR solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with account teams to recommend and develop customer solutions within your assigned specialization area.
• Present to customers as our expert at all levels in the customer hierarchy, from practitioner to senior leadership.
• Act as the main technical point of contact for Cortex and respond to RFIs/RFPs.
• Lead and support customer demonstrations that showcase our unique value proposition.
• Scope and lead PoV projects for prospective customers and partners based on best practices.
• Drive high technical validation and PoV win rates.
• Discuss product alignment with customer requirements and differentiation.
• Architect solutions that strengthen customer security posture.
