Job summary

Palo Alto Networks, Inc. is seeking a Domain Consultant to be the expert for our Cortex portfolio, an AI-powered security operations platform.

You will define technical solutions that secure customer imperatives and evangelize our industry-leading XDR, SOAR and Incident Response solutions, establishing Palo Alto Networks as a cybersecurity partner of choice. Qualifications

6+ years experience in Security Operations or pre-sales/sales engineering within SIEM, SOAR, SOC, and/or XDR/EDR environments.
QRadar design/deployment/pre-sales experience highly desirable.
Experience working with customers and solving problems.
Solid understanding of SOC processes.
Advanced knowledge of SIEM and/or SOAR solutions.
Scripting experience a plus—Python preferred.
Travel may be required for in-person meetings.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with account teams to recommend and develop customer solutions within your specialization area.
Present to customers as our expert at all levels in the customer hierarchy, from practitioner to senior leadership.
Serve as the primary technical contact for Cortex and respond to RFIs/RFPs.
Lead and support customer demonstrations to showcase our value proposition.
Scope and lead PoV projects to ensure technical win in opportunities.
Drive high technical validation and PoV win rates in your area.
Discuss product alignment with customer requirements and differentiation.
