Job summary

Stamford Plaza Sydney Airport is seeking a results-driven Full-Time Business Development Executive – Corporate & MICE to join our Sales team. You will proactively identify, target and secure new corporate and MICE business while expanding existing accounts to boost room nights and events revenue.

You will engage with businesses, event organisers and associations to position the hotel as a preferred destination for corporate accommodation and meetings, working with Sales, C&E, Revenue and

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, hotel sales or MICE sales.
• Proven ability to generate leads and convert opportunities into revenue.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of CRM and property management systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new Corporate and MICE business.
• Develop and manage a strong pipeline of sales opportunities.
• Build relationships with key clients and decision-makers.
• Conduct client meetings, site inspections and familiarisation visits.
• Grow existing accounts and reactivate dormant accounts.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and follow up opportunities.
• Attend tenders and RFPs; negotiate terms to maximise revenue.
• Develop business across the Sydney Airport precinct and wider Sydney.
• Maintain CRM records and account profiles.
