Job summary

Liontown is seeking a Coordinator - Process Plant Operations for its Kathleen Valley expansion. This site-based role interfaces between the Expansion project and Operations, supporting permits, design reviews and handovers on a brownfields mining project in Western Australia. FIFO from Perth, maximum 18 months.

You will coordinate interfaces, contribute to safety programs, and build cross‑functional relationships to ensure the plant expansion progresses smoothly and safely.

Qualifications

• Brownfields mining experience on design, construction or commissioning.
• Engineering degree or equivalent background with hands‑on site exposure.
• Experience coordinating permits and planning ahead on live sites.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work across project and operations teams.
• Solid knowledge of health, safety regulations and HSE systems.
• Current WA White Card and ability to satisfy mine site inductions.

Responsibilities

• Plan permits ahead of needs to keep construction and commissioning on schedule.
• Ensure Operations voice is included in Process Plant expansion design reviews.
• Coordinate handover and tie‑in activities between project and operations.
• Build strong relationships across project, contractor and operations teams.
• Participate in project safety programs, risk assessments and pre‑start analyses.
• Attend interface and progress meetings and contribute to daily/weekly/monthly reporting.

Who are we?

Liontown Limited (ASX: LTR) is one of Australia's newest and most exciting lithium producers. Our Kathleen Valley Lithium Operation in Western Australia is a world-class, tier-one asset with a 20+ year mine life — and we'​re now expanding it. Early works are underway. A 5.5MW ball mill is on order, underground development of the Northwest Flats orebody is progressing, and we're building the dedicated project team that will deliver the next phase of growth. This is an 18-month maximum term role, created specifically for our expansion plans, and is FIFO from Perth to Kathleen Valley.

What You'll Be Doing

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Coordinator - Process Plant Operations is the site-based interface between the Expansion project team and Operations. This includes but is not limited to:

• Planning and progressing permits ahead of need, so construction and commissioning activities are not delayed
• Ensuring Operations has a voice in the design of the Process Plant expansion works, and feeding operational knowledge into design reviews
• Coordinating handover and tie-in activities between project construction and operations, ensuring both sides are ready
• Building strong working relationships across project, contractor and operations teams to keep information flowing both ways
• Participating in the project safety programme, including risk assessments and pre-start hazard analyses for interface activities
• Attending interface and progress meetings, and providing input into daily, weekly and monthly reporting

What We Are Looking For

• Brownfields mining project experience across design, construction and commissioning
• Background as an Engineer, or as a Supervisor with a trade background (e.g. fitter) — we're open to either path
• Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across project and operations teams
• Experience coordinating permits, approvals or similar planning-ahead processes on a live site
• A sound understanding of health and safety legislation and HSE management systems
• Current Australian manual driver's licence, White Card, and ability to satisfy standard WA mine site induction, ticketing and medical requirements
