Job summary

Estia Health is seeking a Cook to join our kitchen team, delivering fresh and nutritious meals that residents love. You’ll work with the Chef to manage the kitchen, tailor meals to individual needs, and uphold high service standards in a supportive aged-care setting.

You should hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, communicate well, and bring experience in a commercial kitchen. Aged care experience is highly regarded; a team-focused, flexible approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery is required.
• Great communication and documentation skills.
• Some experience in a commercial kitchen, aged care experience highly regarded.
• Ability to handle a broad range of cuisines and dietary needs.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Chef to assist kitchen management.

• Work alongside the Chef to assist with kitchen management
• Tailor meals to meet individual needs and preferences
• Ensure our residents are provided with healthy, nutritious and delicious meals
• Support the broader kitchen team to deliver a memorable dining experience

You’ll be a real team player who has:

• A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Great communication and documentation skills
• Some experience within a commercial kitchen (Aged care highly regarded)
• A healthily amount of experience with a broad range of cuisines, dietary requirements in response to social, spiritual & cultural needs of our residents
