Job summary

Estia Health is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our kitchen team in Australia, delivering fresh, nutritious meals residents love. You’ll work with the Chef to assist with kitchen management, tailoring meals to individual needs and maintaining high service standards in a supportive, resident‑focused environment.

We value teamwork, clear communication and experience in a commercial kitchen; aged care experience is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery is required.
• Experience in a commercial kitchen is advantageous, aged care experience highly regarded.
• Ability to tailor meals to individual resident needs and preferences.
• Strong communication and documentation skills are important for kitchen operations.

As Cook you’ll:

• Work alongside the Chef to assist with kitchen management
• Tailor meals to meet individual needs and preferences
• Ensure our residents are provided with healthy, nutritious and delicious meals
• Support the broader kitchen team to deliver a memorable dining experience

You’ll be a real team player who has:

• A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Great communication and documentation skills
• Some experience within a commercial kitchen (Aged care highly regarded)
• A healthily amount of experience with a broad range of cuisines, dietary requirements in response to social, spiritual & cultural needs of our residents
