Job summary

Estia Health in Australia is seeking a motivated cook to support our kitchen team in delivering fresh, nutritious meals to residents. You’ll work alongside the Chef to manage meals, tailor menus to dietary needs, and ensure high standards of food safety and dining experience.

A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery is required; experience in aged care is highly regarded; opportunities for growth and employee benefits are offered.

• Experience in a commercial kitchen; aged care experience is highly regarded.
• Ability to meet diverse dietary requirements and cultural needs of residents.

About the Role

• Work alongside the Chef to assist with kitchen management
• Tailor meals to meet individual needs and preferences
• Ensure our residents are provided with healthy, nutritious and delicious meals
• Support the broader kitchen team to deliver a memorable dining experience

You’ll be a real team player who has:

• A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Great communication and documentation skills
• Some experience within a commercial kitchen (Aged care highly regarded)
• A healthily amount of experience with a broad range of cuisines, dietary requirements in response to social, spiritual & cultural needs of our residents
