Job summary

Estia Health on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a Cook to help create a home residents love by delivering high-standard meals. You will work with the Chef to manage kitchen tasks, tailor meals to individual needs, and ensure residents receive nutritious and delicious options.

Strong communication and documentation skills are required, with some experience in a commercial kitchen; aged care experience is highly regarded. This role is on site and offers various staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery is required.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills are essential.
• Some experience in a commercial kitchen is preferable, aged care experience valued.
• Experience handling a broad range of cuisines and dietary requirements for residents.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Chef to assist with kitchen management

• Support the broader kitchen team to deliver a memorable dining experience

You’ll be a real team player who has:

• A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Great communication and documentation skills
• Some experience within a commercial kitchen (Aged care highly regarded)
• A healthily amount of experience with a broad range of cuisines, dietary requirements in response to social, spiritual & cultural needs of our residents
