Job summary

Estia Health is seeking a kitchen professional to join our aged care team in Australia. You’ll work with the Chef to manage kitchen operations, tailor meals to residents' needs, and ensure meals are nutritious and delicious.

Ideal candidates hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, demonstrate strong communication and documentation skills, and have experience in a commercial kitchen (aged care preferred).

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery is required.
• Excellent communication and accurate documentation are essential.
• Experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred, aged care experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Assist with kitchen management alongside the Chef.
• Tailor meals to meet residents' individual needs and preferences.
• Ensure meals are nutritious, wholesome and delicious for residents.
• Support the broader kitchen team to deliver a memorable dining experience.

• Work alongside the Chef to assist with kitchen management
• Tailor meals to meet individual needs and preferences
• Ensure our residents are provided with healthy, nutritious and delicious meals

Required Skills & Experience

• A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Great communication and documentation skills
• Some experience within a commercial kitchen (Aged care highly regarded)
• A healthily amount of experience with a broad range of cuisines, dietary requirements in response to social, spiritual & culture needs of our residents
