Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning is seeking a Centre Cook at our Canning Vale Batman Road site in WA. This part-time role (27.5 hours, Mon-Fri) offers a competitive hourly rate up to $35.44 plus super, with strong perks including childcare fee discounts and paid professional development.

You'll plan menus, order supplies in consultation with the Centre Director, ensure food safety and allergen management, and cook delicious, nutritious meals for children in our care.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking within a childcare setting.
• Current WA Working with Children Check.
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training, completed via Geccko platform.

• Use your creativity and organisational skills to plan the menu and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director.
• Maintain high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic.
• Work a part time roster of 27.5 hours per week, 8am – 2pm.

Employment Type: Part Time/Permanent (27.5 hours, Mon-Fri)

Pay: Up to $35.44 p/h + super
