Goodstart Early Learning is hiring a Centre Cook in Brisbane for a permanent part-time role (26.5 hours/week). Pay ranges from $31.36 to $35.44 per hour, depending on qualification. You will prepare healthy meals, ensure dietary needs are met, and contribute to children’s nutrition and wellbeing.

The role includes menu planning with the Centre Director, strict food-safety practices, and a supportive team environment with staff benefits such as staff discounts and development opportunities.

Competenze

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or childcare cooking experience.
• Current Vic Working with Children Check.
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training via Geccko platform.

In This Role, You Will

• Ensure the safety of children by preparing meals to account for special dietary requirements and allergies
• Use your creativity and organisational skills to plan the menu and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director
• Maintain high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic
• Work a part time roster of 26.5 hours per week
