Job summary

Moama Bowling Club is seeking a dedicated Cook for a full-time permanent role in our main kitchen. You will perform all food preparation and cooking duties in a fast-paced environment, maintaining high hygiene standards and ensuring consistent portions across sections of the kitchen.

Preferred candidates have commercial cookery experience and a Certificate III (highly regarded but not essential). We offer competitive salary and opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial cookery
• Proven experience in a large high-volume commercial kitchen
• Experience in food preparation and plating up
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (highly regarded but not essential)

We now have the following position available in our main kitchen.

Cook - Full Time/Permanent

Responsibilities include:

• Performing all food preparation and cooking duties
• Working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Maintain high standard of kitchen hygiene to exceed food safety standards.
• Working across all sections of the kitchen including pans and fryers
• Ensuring consistency and portion control is adhered to.
• General kitchen cleaning duties as required.

Essential skills required:

• Certificate III is Commercial Cookery (highly regarded but not essential)
• Experience in commercial cookery
• Proven experience in a large high-volume commercial kitchen
• Experience in food preparation and plating up.
