Job summary

Moama Bowling Club in New South Wales is seeking a professional cook to join our main kitchen team. You will perform all food preparation and cooking duties in a fast-paced environment, keeping hygiene standards high and ensuring consistent portions across grills, pans and fryers.

We require a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or higher) and proven experience in large high-volume kitchens; experience in a 5-star hotel is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (and/or higher).
• Experience in commercial cookery.
• Proven experience in a large high-volume kitchen.
• Experience in a 5 star hotel is strongly preferred.
• Experience in food preparation and food service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standard of kitchen hygiene to exceed food safety standards.
• Working across all sections of the kitchen including grills, pans, and fryers.
• Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas using traditional Italian techniques and authentic wood fired pizza oven.
• Ensuring consistency and portion control is adhered to.
• General kitchen cleaning duties as required.
