Job summary

Guppy’s Early Learning Centre in Townsville is seeking a friendly and reliable cook to join our supportive team. You will assist across all rooms and provide nutritious meals for the children, working with qualified early learning professionals to promote learning and wellbeing.

This part-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to a caring, play-based environment, with onsite parking and a collaborative leadership team that values growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• Current Blue Card.
• First Aid, CPR & Asthma qualifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
• Food preparation and cooking experience is preferred but not required.
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate is preferred but not required.
• Experience in the childcare industry is preferred but not required.

Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and reliable cook who wantsto join our supportive team at our Townsville centre. In this role, you will assist across all rooms and will provide nutritious meals for the children in our centre. You will work within our team ofqualified early learning professionals to providehigh-quality care for children, promote their learning and help them to develop key skills for the future.

This is a part-timeposition and applicants need to be willing to learn and contribute to a caring, play-based environment.
