Goodstart Caloundra is seeking a Centre Cook to prepare healthy meals and snacks for children, ensuring safety and dietary requirements are met. You will work closely with the Centre Director and Educators to support wellbeing and positive mealtime experiences.

This part-time role focuses on nutritious menu planning, food safety, and collaboration within a welcoming team at Caloundra, QLD.

About the role

As the Centre Cook at Goodstart Caloundra, you'll be responsible for preparing healthy, nutritious meals and snacks that support children's wellbeing and development.

Working closely with the Centre Director and Educators, you'll help create positive mealtime experiences while ensuring all food is prepared safely and in accordance with dietary requirements and food safety guidelines.

In this role, you'll:

• Prepare healthy and nutritious meals for children each day
• Cater for allergies, cultural needs, and special dietary requirements
• Plan menus and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
• Create positive mealtime experiences that encourage healthy eating habits
• Contribute to a welcoming and supportive centre community
• Work collaboratively with educators and centre leadership
