Job summary

The Sydney Boulevard Hotel in Woolloomooloo, Sydney, is seeking a dedicated Part-time or Casual PM Cook to join our kitchen team and help ensure guest requirements are met with exceptional service.

You will prepare breakfast, room service and bar food, maintain mise en place, keep a clean, high-standard kitchen, manage stock, and participate in briefings and training. NSW RSA and police check required; Australian work rights preferred.

Qualifications

• The ability to work a flexible 7-day roster.
• Interest in cooking.
• Experience in the food industry preferred.
• Creative and passionate about food and customer service

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment whilst ensuring a product of high quality and presentation standards.
• Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage.
• Ensure your area of the kitchen is cleaned to the highest standards
• Ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned. Report any problems to the Head Chef.
• Receive deliveries, unpack produce and store stock.
• General Kitchen cleaning tasks.
• Attend briefings and meetings as required.
• Openly communicate during regular briefings ensuring all relevant information is passed on.
• Use Department Procedure Manuals as a base for all service procedures training.
• Complete all mandatory training through Accor Academy ‘Learn Your Way’ & and other similar training platforms.

The Sydney Boulevard Hotel, a classic establishment near Sydney’s CBD, boasts 275 well-appointed guest rooms, 2 food and beverage outlets, and 11 function rooms.

We are dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high operational standards.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Part-time or Casual PM Cook to join our team, support our Kitchen team, and help ensure guest requirements are always met withexceptional service.
