Job summary

The Sydney Boulevard Hotel, managed by Accor, seeks a dedicated Part-time or Casual PM Cook to support our Kitchen team and ensure guest needs are met with exceptional service.

Key duties include preparing breakfast, room service, and bar offerings, maintaining mise en place, and upholding high hygiene and presentation standards. A Food Handling Certificate is required; cooking qualifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Flexible 7-day roster.
• Interest in cooking.
• Experience in food industry preferred.
• Creative and passionate about food and customer service.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
• Service-oriented with an eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Breakfast, room service, and bar food orders.
• Prepare and ensure mis en place is available as required.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment with high quality presentation.
• Ensure stock rotation and minimise wastage.
• Keep kitchen area clean to the highest standards.
• Report equipment issues to Head Chef and coordinate maintenance.
• Receive deliveries, unpack and store stock.
• Attend briefings and meetings as required.
• Maintain clear communication during briefings.
• Complete mandatory training through Accor Academy Learn Your Way and similar platforms.
