Job summary

The Bayview Geographe Resort, managed by Accor, is seeking a dedicated Part-time or Casual PM Cook to support our Kitchen team and ensure guest requirements are met with exceptional service. The role involves breakfast, room service, and bar food preparation in a dynamic hotel setting.

Successful candidates will be passionate about food, able to work a flexible 7-day roster, and thrive in a high-pressure environment while delivering high-quality presentation and service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Breakfast, room service, and bar food orders
• Prepare and ensure the availability of mis en place as required.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment whilst ensuring a product of high quality and presentation standards.
• Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage.
• Ensure your area of the kitchen is cleaned to the highest standards
• Ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned. Report any problems to the Head Chef.
• Receive deliveries, unpack produce and store stock.
• General Kitchen cleaning tasks.
• Attend briefings and meetings as required.
• Openly communicate during regular briefings ensuring all relevant information is passed on.
• Use Department Procedure Manuals as a base for all service procedures training.
• Complete all mandatory training through Accor Academy ‘Learn Your Way’ & and other similar training platforms.

The Sydney Boulevard Hotel, a classic establishment near Sydney’s CBD, boasts 275 well-appointed guest rooms, 2 food and beverage outlets, and 11 function rooms.

We are dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high operational standards.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Part-time or Casual PM Cook to join our team, support our Kitchen team, and help ensure guest requirements are always met withexceptional service.
