Job summary

Iberdrola Australia is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join their Brisbane or Sydney team. You will provide technical expertise across wind, solar and storage projects, acting as the technical authority for plant control systems and related interfaces.

The role requires a strong background in electrical and control systems engineering, experience with SCADA/OT systems, and knowledge of NEM rules and cybersecurity obligations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree in electrical/control systems field.
• Experience in renewable energy design, commissioning and operations.
• Ability to review technical docs and troubleshoot complex control systems.
• Experience with SCADA and OT systems in critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME in renewable energy control systems for wind, solar, storage and grid assets.
• Act as technical authority for plant control systems and interfaces.
• Identify non-conformances and design deficiencies; develop robust solutions.
• Support testing, commissioning and project lifecycle activities.
