ACCIONA Energía seeks a Senior Power Systems Engineer to lead development, connection and operation of large-scale renewable projects in Australia. Based in Melbourne or Brisbane, you’ll work on wind, solar and battery projects to bring assets safely onto the National Electricity Market.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in power systems engineering within renewable generation, transmission or distribution.
• Knowledge of inverter-based resources including wind, solar and battery energy storage systems.
• Experience with AEMO grid connection processes and interactions with DNSPs/TNSPs.
• Strong technical report writing and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Eligible for membership of Engineers Australia and valid Australian driver’s license.

• Lead and support grid connection activities for utility-scale wind, solar and battery energy storage projects across the full project lifecycle.
• Deliver power system studies, technical assessments and grid connection documentation to support successful connection and compliance outcomes.
• Work with AEMO, DNSPs, consultants and project teams to navigate connection requirements and approvals.
• Provide engineering leadership during commissioning, testing, model validation and energisation activities.
• Support operational assets by resolving power system performance issues and ensuring ongoing grid compliance.
• Contribute technical expertise to project development, bids and strategic initiatives for portfolio growth.
