Millennium Services Group is recruiting a Security Officer to operate in a control room at Miranda, NSW. The role involves patrols, incident response and client-facing duties, with a rotating roster (days and nights).

Ideal candidates will hold a valid Security Licence, First Aid/CPR, and have experience in retail security or control room coordination. Australian working rights are required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV and site activity to ensure safety and compliance.

Security Officer - Control Room Operator - Full-Time

About the Role

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while delivering a high standard of customer service. This role involves a mix of patrols, incident response, and client-facing duties.

Positions available: Full-time Day Controller

Potential earnings / Award Level: Level 5 + Sign on bonus

Shifts: Rotating Roster: 1 weekday shifts: 0600-1800 and 1 weeknight shifts: 1800-0600

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV systems and site activity to ensure safety and compliance

• Ensure adherence to operational procedures and safety protocols
• Support rostering, shift coverage, and workforce coordination

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A valid Security Licence
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Previous security experience (retail experience highly regarded)
• Previous experience in a control room or operations coordination role is highly preferred
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Familiarity with CCTV, radio, and dispatch systems
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond quickly to incidents
• Basic computer literacy and report writing skills
• Availability for shift work, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
• Security license or relevant certifications may be required depending on site
• Full Australian working rights
