Job summary

GenusPlus Group is seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to support delivery of the Waddi Wind Farm project in Australia. You will manage subcontracts, procurement activities, and budgets, ensuring compliance with the contract and project programme while collaborating with engineers, controls, and suppliers.

This greenfield 132kV substation project demands strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and a proactive, safety‑minded approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a commercial or contract management role.
• Demonstrated procurement experience.
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills and attention to detail.
• High-level communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced MS Office capability (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Management of payment claims, variations, site instructions, insurances, subcontract compliance and performance.
• Intently focus on performance with respect to the head contract project programme.
• Ownership of budget and forecast management of your dedicated subcontracts.
• Procure your dedicated subcontract packages including RFQ preparation and issue right through to review of RFQ submissions including contract negotiation while simultaneously working with project controls, engineers and subcontractors.
• Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Provide commercial advice to the wider project team.
• Coordinate subcontractor weekly progress meetings.
• Learn from and work closely with senior people in the business including Senior Contracts Administrator, Commercial Manager, Project Director.
