Job summary

GenusPlus Group is seeking a Project Director to lead the end-to-end delivery of a major wind farm project in Western Australia. This senior role reports to the Executive General Manager and oversees safety, commercial and delivery performance across the full lifecycle.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage client and contractor relationships, and drive governance, reporting and successful commissioning and handover. On-site WA work is required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering major wind, renewable energy, power or infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience in a Project Director or senior project leadership position.
• Strong knowledge of large-scale EPC or construction delivery environments.
• Proven commercial and contractual capability, including financial management, forecasting, risk and claims.
• Experience leading large, multidisciplinary project teams and contractor workforces.
• Strong client-management, negotiation and stakeholder-engagement skills.
• A decisive and practical leadership style with a strong focus on accountability and delivery.
• A comprehensive understanding of safety, environmental, quality and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Providing overall leadership and strategic direction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Establishing and executing the project delivery strategy, governance framework and performance objectives.
• Maintaining accountability for safety, financial, commercial, schedule and quality outcomes.
• Leading multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with the client, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
• Monitoring project performance, identifying emerging risks and implementing effective recovery strategies.
• Overseeing contractual obligations, variations, claims, forecasting and cost control.
• Ensuring workforce, equipment and subcontractor resources are aligned with project requirements.
• Driving a collaborative, accountable and high-performance project culture.
• Providing clear reporting and strategic advice to the executive leadership team.
• Supporting successful commissioning, completion and handover.
