Job summary

GenusPlus Group in Australia is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join the Wind Farm project team. The role focuses on leading site teams, supervising electrical subcontractors, and ensuring safe, quality-driven delivery of HV infrastructure.

The successful candidate will manage HV installations, testing and commissioning, and coordinate with subcontractors to meet project milestones on the Waddi Wind Farm. WA licence and white card are essential.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade qualification and WA Electrical Licence
• Experience supervising on high-voltage (132kV–330kV) transmission or substation projects
• Proven supervisory experience in infrastructure, utilities or renewable energy projects
• Strong knowledge of HV installation, testing and commissioning practices
• Ability to lead and motivate site teams in a fast-paced construction environment
• Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Construction Induction (White Card)

Responsibilities

• Supervising electrical subcontractors and field teams during construction activities
• Overseeing power transformer installations, GIS installations, and HV/LV testing works
• Monitoring and reporting construction progress while supporting quality inspections and commissioning activities
• Reviewing and approving subcontractor documentation, SWMS, and work instructions to ensure compliance and project standards
