Job summary

Morson Edge (Australia) is seeking a Contracts Administrator for national fit-out and refurbishment projects in Sydney. You will work closely with the Project Manager to drive commercial and administrative delivery from procurement through to completion.

The role requires experience in subcontractor procurement, variations, cost control and strong stakeholder communication across Australia.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Contracts Administrator within commercial construction.
• Fit-out and refurbishment experience is highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of subcontractor procurement, variations and cost control.
• Comfortable supporting projects delivered across Australia.

Responsibilities

• Preparing subcontractor scopes and tender packages.
• Managing procurement and subcontractor agreements.
• Assessing progress claims and processing payments.
• Managing variations, cost reporting and project forecasts.
• Reviewing contracts and identifying commercial risks.
• Maintaining project documentation and registers.
• Supporting the Project Manager with budgets and reporting.
• Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Assisting with project close-out and final accounts.
