Morson Edge (Australia) in Sydney seeks an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to lead commercial delivery on a $500M premier apartment project and a $300M BTS development. You will oversee contract administration, budgets, and stakeholder relationships to ensure on-time, compliant delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-10 years of construction experience.
• Strong background on large-scale mid-tier commercial & residential projects up to $100M.
• Proven leadership in contract management, budget oversight, and subcontractor negotiation.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in project management and construction management software Jobpac, Cheops.

Responsibilities

• Contract Management: Administer and oversee construction contracts in line with project goals and compliance requirements.
• Cost Control: Manage budgets, track expenditures, and prepare financial reports, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts.
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to manage expectations, resolve disputes, and negotiate favourable terms.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed records including variations, progress claims, and contract correspondence.
• Tender Process: Assist with the preparation, issuing, and evaluation of tender documents.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the broader delivery team to ensure timely and efficient contract administration.
