Zenith Search is partnering with a leading Australian builder to appoint a Senior Contracts Administrator for a high-performing Brisbane project team. The role sits on a commercial building program with work secured through to 2028, offering strong development and a stable pipeline.

You will own the commercial side from procurement through final account, in a close-knit environment backed by a major builder. A focus on live environments such as hospitals or airports is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Recent experience as a Senior Contracts Administrator / CA.
• Strong commercial building experience with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 builder.
• Ability to manage projects and packages from start to finish.
• Sound understanding of construction methodology and Australian Standard contracts.
• Live environment experience (hospitals, airports or occupied buildings) highly regarded.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Brisbane / Queensland construction market experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, negotiate and manage subcontracts and procurement packages.
• Run tender evaluations and let trade packages.
• Prepare and administer head contract and subcontract progress claims.
• Manage variations, EOTs and contractual correspondence.
• Monitor project budgets, cost reports and cash flow forecasts.
• Work closely with your Project Manager and Site Manager to keep projects on program and on budget.

Zenith Search is partnering with one of Australia’s most established privately owned builders to find a Senior Contracts Administrator for a high-performing Brisbane project team.

The Projects

This is a commercial building role, not civil or infrastructure. The team’s current and upcoming work includes:

Healthcare: a $65m refurbishment within an operating hospital, secured through to 2028, plus a new clinical services build on top of a live hospital

Technical facilities: a $35m purpose-built facility housing critical systems for a transport operator, starting on site now

Social and affordable housing: a new 40-unit, $25m apartment building due to start in December, with another residential project at final slab

Aviation: building works within an operational airport

For a Senior CA, that means variety, live-environment complexity and long-term security, rather than one job in and one job out.

About the Role

As Senior Contracts Administrator, you’ll own the commercial side of your projects, working closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager and wider project team from procurement through to final account.

Key Responsibilities
