Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Minimum 5+ years experience with a Sydney-based contractor in commercial sector.
• Proven track record delivering projects from inception to completion.
• Ideally worked on projects $10M+ from start to finish.
• Longevity and stability in your resume.
• Experience with Jobpac, Cheops or Procore is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the contract administration on the $50M project as Stand Alone CA.
• Manage a Junior CA and day-to-day activities.
• Own procurement, subcontract packages, RFIs, variations and progress claims.
• Handle EOTs, NoDs, head contract management and cost reporting.

Growing business with over $100M project pipeline

Work under two Directors who have 40+ years Tier 2 experience

Work on an initial Mixed Use $50m project that has just secured CC and drive it from inception to completion - 12 Story tower combining Age Care, Commercial and Retail facilities

Hands on Directors, no middle management and clear pathway if desired and you perform

Exposure to a variety of construction projects inc Institutional and Industrial Builds

Opportunity to be mentored into a Project Management or Commercial Management

The Role & Business

Working as a Contracts Administrator, you will bereporting to experienced Directors leading the commercial success of a high profile $50M project. As a Stand Alone CA you will drive the job and also be managing a Junior CA to help assist you with the day to day. You will have autonomy to drive all contract award decisions from procurement, letting subcontract trade packages, management of RFI's, variations and progress claims, EOT's and NoD's, Head Contract Management and Cost Reporting. This project requires a proven CA who will enjoy setting the job up from the very start.

The Company are a well-recognised and respected in Sydney and build commercial projects $20M - $100M - they will run 2-4 projects at anyone time depending on the scale and complexity. They pride themselves on team harmony, a strong culture and recognise people want to enjoy where they work and grow with a company. Both Directors have had no more than 2 jobs in their careers and value loyalty / attitude.

They are not a project to project company when it comes to hiring staff. Turning over in excess of $100M in NSW, they are best known for the delivery of Commercial projects across the Age Care, Industrial and Retail sectors of the industry. The business is financially stable, has an excellent credit rating and continues to grow organically. Competitive tendering does not form part of its business model, and revenue comes from repeat clients.

It takes a non-litigious, relationship focused approach and has developed lasting partnerships with clients and subcontractors. The company also uses industry leading systems and genuinely understands the demands placed on staff in the industry.

Qualifications & Experience

You will have finished a Bachelor of Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Architecture

You will have a minimum of 5+ years industry experience working for a recognised Contractorin Sydney in the commercial sector

Consistently delivered projects from inception to completion

Ideally worked on projects $10M+ from inception to completion

Demonstrate Longevity within your resume

Your key drivers will be about wanting to be part of something and work with professional people whilst building quality projects

Your attitude will be your biggest asset - you will be hard working, have a positive mindset and be eager to learn

Jobpac, Cheops or Procore experience will be advantageous
