Jobs In HR is seeking an experienced Workforce Planning Specialist for a contract role in Australia. You will work with senior leaders, HR, Talent Acquisition and Finance to shape workforce strategies ensuring the right people and capabilities are in place to meet current and future needs.

You will develop strategic frameworks, conduct supply/demand analysis, and produce forecasts and dashboards that translate complex data into actionable insights for business decision-makers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in workforce planning, analytics or related HR/finance role.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into insights.
• Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau).
• Experience partnering with senior leaders across multiple functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic workforce planning frameworks.
• Undertake supply and demand analysis and identify gaps in capability.
• Create short-, medium- and long-term workforce forecasts aligned with strategy.
• Analyse headcount, turnover, demographics, productivity and workforce costs.
• Develop dashboards and reporting to translate data into insights.
• Collaborate with leaders to understand growth, risks and future requirements.
• Work with Talent Acquisition to shape hiring and pipeline strategies.
• Support succession planning and talent reviews.
• Facilitate workforce planning workshops with stakeholders.
