seek.com.au is seeking an experienced Contract Operations Co-ordinator for our client’s site in Coopers Plains, Brisbane. The role covers fleet activities at Gay Street and Lysaght Street and focuses on fleet utilisation, asset tracking and contract performance.

You will lead a small team, ensure tasks are completed on time, and maintain safe work practices. The role requires strong MS Office skills, a practical logistics mindset, and the ability to report KPI metrics to leadership.

We are seeking an experienced Contract Operations Co-ordinator with experience in the steel industry. This role will be based on our clients site in Coopers Plains. The role covers both Gay Street and Lysaght Street driving fleet.

• Manage assets, people and contract to achieve optimal fleet utilisation and contract performance
• Overseeing and ensuring operational tasks are completed as per company and client requirements
• Ensure administration and fleet allocation processes meet all deadlines and are accurate
• Maintain and ensure safe system of work are enforced, monitored and enabled at both the loading, load restraint, driving and unloading ends of the transport task.
• Report back to Leadership Team and customer review programs (daily weekly and monthly) with KPI reports
• Track profitability and cost control in consideration of the contract and operating requirements

You must be able to demonstrate safe work practices and be confident to lead a team

Qualifications required for this role:

• Drivers licence - Heavy vehicle licence is preferred but not essential
• Forklift HRW licence preferred but not essential
• Business or Logistics Diploma or Certificate is highly desired
• Have good computer literacy skills including use of MS Office programs
