Toll Group in Chullora, NSW, is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor for our Steel Transport team to coordinate drivers, subcontractors and fleet resources while upholding safety and compliance.
You will report to the Operations Manager and drive daily transport operations, ensuring DIFOT targets are met and customer commitments are delivered safely, efficiently and reliably. The role requires strong communication and proactive safety leadership.
As part of our Steel Transport operation, we're looking for an experienced and safety-focused Operations Supervisor to lead daily transport activities and ensure outstanding service delivery for our customers. Based in Chullora, this role is critical in coordinating drivers, subcontractors, fleet resources and customer requirements while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance and operational performance.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating day-to-day transport operations to ensure customer commitments are met safely, efficiently and reliably. You'll work closely with drivers, subcontractors, customers and service providers to deliver strong operational outcomes while promoting a positive safety culture across the business.
Safety is at the heart of everything we do. In this role, you'll identify hazards, assess and control risks, lead safety conversations, conduct workplace inspections and ensure employees and contractors comply with WHS requirements and safe work procedures. You'll play a key role in supporting investigations, corrective actions and fostering a proactive safety culture.
