Goldstar Transport is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to oversee a major transport contract, based North of the River (Wangara). Reporting to the COO, you will ensure safe, efficient and profitable delivery while maintaining strong relationships with the major customer.

You will lead operations across compliance, fleet and people, focus on KPI-driven performance, and drive improvements in processes and scheduling in a fast-paced heavy-vehicle environment.

Formación

• Demonstrated experience in transport operations or contract management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of CoR, fatigue management and heavy vehicle legislation.
• Strong commercial experience including budgets, costs, productivity and profitability.
• Experience managing key customer relationships in a B2B environment.
• Proven ability to lead and develop operational teams for safety and performance.
• Understanding of fleet scheduling and asset utilisation.

Responsabilidades

• Take charge of operational and commercial performance, including revenue, profitability, productivity, fleet utilisation and cost management.
• Drive workforce and capacity planning to meet current and future operational and customer requirements.
• Identify and manage operational, commercial and capacity risks to protect service delivery and business performance.
• Build strong senior relationships with key customers, suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement across processes, systems, scheduling, fleet utilisation and operational performance.
• Provide decisive leadership during disruptions, critical incidents and competing business priorities.
• Monitor revenue, labour, maintenance and hire costs.
• Prepare and report on weekly and monthly KPIs and operational performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction, efficiency and profitability.

Position Available

We are seeking anexperienced Contract Manager to oversee the successful delivery ofa major transport contract, with responsibility across operations,compliance, fleet, people, customer relationships and commercialperformance. This position will be based North of the River(Wangara).

Reporting directly to the COO, you will play a key role inensuring the contract is delivered safely, efficiently andprofitably while maintaining strong relationships with our majorcustomer. This is a hands-on transport management role suited to anexperienced professional who understands the demands of heavyvehicle operations and is confident managing compliance, people,fleet and customer expectations in a fast-paced environment.

To be successful in this role, you willneed:

• Demonstrated experience in transport operations or contractmanagement
• Comprehensive knowledge of CoR, fatigue management andheavy vehicle legislation
• Strong commercial experience, including accountability forbudgets, costs, productivity, utilisation, KPIs andprofitability
• Demonstrated experience managing key customerrelationships, service performance and commercial discussionsin a B2B environment
• Proven ability to lead, develop and hold operational teamsaccountable for safety, performance and service outcomes
• Strong understanding of fleet scheduling, transportproductivity and asset utilisation
