Job summary

Downer Group in Melbourne partners with Homes Victoria to deliver property maintenance and contract governance that strengthens social housing across Victoria. A Contract Officer role supports day‑to‑day contract administration, performance tracking and governance processes to ensure accurate reporting for communities served.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of contract performance management, including KPI frameworks and service level measurement.
• Ability to analyse and interpret large data sets using Excel (filters, pivots, reconciliation, trends).
• High attention to detail with data reconciliation across systems.
• Well‑developed organisational skills to manage competing priorities in a high‑volume contract environment.

Responsibilities

• Support contract administration activities including maintaining records, registers, variations, correspondence and approvals in line with governance requirements.
• Assist in tracking contract performance, KPIs and service levels, including preparation of performance reports and dashboards.
• Support coordination between operations teams, service delivery partners and the contract management team for effective service delivery outcomes.
• Support client and internal reporting requirements, including meeting papers, minutes and follow ups.
• Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities and governance reviews.
