Job summary

Western Power in Perth CBD is seeking a Contract Delivery Specialist for a 10-month max term contract. You will support the preparation of proposals, evaluation and negotiation of contracts to drive efficiencies across suppliers and ensure delivery of the annual Approved Works Program.

The role involves administering third-party and outsourcing agreements, ensuring work is validated against contract conditions, managing Deed sourcing and supplier accreditation, and monitoring performance through

Qualifications

• Must have a degree or equivalent in Business, Law or Commerce with extensive industry experience.
• Solid knowledge of contract management principles and demonstrated experience.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Ability to drive change and innovation within contract arrangements.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships across a corporate environment.
• Ability to interpret legislation relating to contract law.

Responsibilities

• Manage contract issues related to HSE, materials and performance with suppliers to deliver the work program.
• Administer third-party and outsourcing agreements in line with the Contract Management Framework.
• Ensure completion is validated against contract conditions and requirements.
• Manage the sourcing process for Deeds, review documentation and update systems.
• Oversee workforce accreditation to ensure suppliers can perform assigned functions.
• Provide monthly performance and delivery meetings with suppliers on contract performance.
• Ensure services meet safety, quality, cost and customer satisfaction standards.
• Support safety, health, environmental and community programs.
