Job summary

CPB Contractors in Australia is seeking a Contract Administrator to oversee the contractual aspects of major infrastructure projects. You will manage subcontract and supplier contracts within prescribed budgets, working with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant and well-drafted agreements.

The role requires a bachelor degree in QS/CM/ Economics/ Law/ Business, experience on commercial building projects, and strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management / Economics / Law / Business.
• Experience on commercial building projects.
• Subcontract procurement and contract negotiations experience.
• Knowledge of legal requirements in construction contracts.
• Strong ability to build rapport and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and error identification.

Responsibilities

• Effective management of administration of subcontract and supplier contracts.
• Leading commercial input into procurement and preparation of subcontract documents.
• Negotiation and administration of subcontract and supplier contracts within budgets.
• Assessing subcontractor claims, invoices and variations.
• Preparation of project monthly report including cost data and progress.
