Job summary

DSD in Sydney's Surry Hills is seeking a driven Contract Administrator to join our growing interiors team. You will work closely with Project Managers and leadership to deliver projects from procurement through final account.

Ideal candidates have contract admin experience in commercial construction or refurbishment, a relevant qualification, strong commercial awareness, and familiarity with Procore.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Contract Administrator within commercial construction, fitout or refurbishment.
• Qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Confidence communicating with clients, consultants and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and administering subcontract agreements.
• Writing detailed scopes of works for subcontract and trade packages.
• Managing procurement, trade letting and subcontractor negotiations.
• Assessing progress claims, variations and payment schedules.
• Preparing cost reports, forecasts and project cash flows.
• Maintaining project budgets and monitoring commercial performance.
• Developing and managing design and construction programmes.
• Coordinating design deliverables, approvals and construction sequencing.
• Managing RFIs, document registers and contractual correspondence.
• Supporting head contract administration and client reporting.
