Job summary

Harrison Barratt Group in Sydney is seeking a hands-on Contracts Administrator to join our commercial fit-out and refurbishment team. You will work closely with Project Managers across multiple live projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key duties include procurement, tendering, contract administration, and managing variations and subcontract payments. A strong focus on cost control, risk assessment, and stakeholder relationships supports project delivery and budget oversight.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' Contracts Administration experience within the Australian commercial construction industry.
• Strong understanding of procurement, cost control, subcontract management and contract administration.
• Experience delivering live environment projects.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontract procurement, tendering and contract administration across multiple commercial projects.
• Assess progress claims, manage variations and administer subcontract payments.
• Prepare trade packages, scopes of work and negotiate subcontract agreements.
• Build strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.

• Assist Project Managers with commercial programming and project delivery.
• Monitor project budgets, forecasting and monthly cost reporting.

Contracts Administrator | Commercial Fit-Out and Refurbishment

A Tier 1 fit-out and refurbishment contractor is seeking a Contracts Administrator to join their Sydney team.

The business delivers a strong, consistent pipeline of commercial projects across multiple sectors, typically valued up to $20M+ in Sydney.

This is a hands-on CA role working closely with Project Managers across multiple projects in fast-paced, live environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage subcontract procurement, tendering and contract administration across multiple commercial projects
• Assess progress claims, manage variations and administer subcontract payments
• Prepare trade packages, scopes of work and negotiate subcontract agreements
• Build strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and suppliers
• Ensure contractual compliance while identifying commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle
• Assist Project Managers with commercial programming and project delivery
• Monitor project budgets, forecasting and monthly cost reporting

About You

• Demonstrated experience delivering commercial fit out, refurbishment and/or Design & Construct projects
• Minimum 3 years' Contracts Administration experience within the Australian commercial construction industry.
• Strong understanding of procurement, cost control, subcontract management and contract administration
• Able to managemultiple projects simultaneously
• Experience withProcore, Buildsoft, Cheops, Jobpac or similar
• Experience deliveringlive environment projects
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (desired)
