Job summary

Linktal Recruitment is partnering with a Tier 2 builder to recruit a Contract Administrator for Class 2 apartment projects in NSW. The role supports commercial delivery from procurement to completion, working closely with Project Managers and site teams to manage financial and contractual aspects of the projects.

You'll handle subcontractor procurement, tendering, progress claims, variations, and subcontract administration to ensure time, cost, and quality objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Contract Administrator within a builder.
• Strong knowledge of NSW Class 2 apartment projects.
• Sound understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or similar.

Responsibilities

Contract Administrator – Class 2 Apartment Projects

We are partnering with a Tier 2 Builder with a strong track record delivering Class 2 apartment developments across Sydney. Due to continued growth and a solid pipeline of upcoming projects, they are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join their team.

The Opportunity

This is a key role supporting the commercial delivery of residential apartment projects from procurement through to completion. You will work closely with the Project Manager and site teams to ensure all financial and contractual aspects of the project are effectively managed.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractor procurement and letting of trade packages
• Prepare scopes of work and tender documentation
• Assess subcontractor progress claims and variations
• Monitor project costs, forecasts, and reporting
• Administer head and subcontracts in line with project requirements
• Support project delivery to achieve time, cost, and quality objectives

About You

• Proven experience as a Contract Administrator within a Tier 1–3 builder
• Strong experience delivering Class 2 apartment projects in NSW
• Sound knowledge of construction contracts and commercial processes
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or similar
